In 1998 Srilanka entered Semi-finals and in 2000 they were runners-up. In 2002 there are the joint winners shared the trophy with India. But in 2004, 2006 and in 2009 they were eliminated in the first round itself. But in 2013, they had entered the semi-finals. So performance in ICC Champions Trophy by Srilankan Cricket Team always inconsistency one. Their performance in World Cup is superb. But when it comes to ICC Champions Trophy their inconsistency continues.
